| The first Ozzfest is held, featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer and Danzig. Slipknot released their debut album and the rise of Nu-Metal was on it's way. Former Saxon and Motörhead-drummer who was playing with Son of a Bitch at the time retired from drumming after being diagnosed with arthritis. Dave Mustaine formed his short-lived solo project MD.45. together with Lee Ving, Jimmy Degrasso and Kelly Lemieux. They released 'The Craving' in 1996 before disbanding. |
