LINEUP CHANGES

Vocalist Neil Turbin and bassist Dan Lilker were fired from Anthrax soon after the release of   their debut album 'Fistful of Metal was released. Dan Lilker then formed Nuclear Assault   with John Connelly.

IMPORTANT EVENTS

Deep Purple reforms after an eight year long break.       Def Leppard's drummer Rick Allen loses his arm in a car crash.   Hanoi Rocks drummer Razzle is killed in a car accident. The driver of the car is Mötley   Crüe's Vince Neil.    Doom metal legends Saint Vitus and Trouble releases their debut albums.   The metal mockumentary Spinal Tap was released.   Anthrax released their debut album 'Fistful of Metal'.
