I got the opportunity to distribute The Candlemass Chronicles. Candlemass is a Swedish Doom Metal band formed out of the ashes of Nemesis back in 1984. In 1986 they released their legendary debut Epicus Doomicus Metallicus. With that album they named the Epic Doom Metal genre. Back then it was the temporary vocalist Johan Längquist who fronted the band. But soon thereafter they recruited a more permanent vocalist in Messiah Marcolin and the classic Candlemass lineup of Mats 'Mappe' Björkman, Jan Lindh, Leif Edling and Lars Johansson was solidified.
Over the years Candlemass have recorded classic doom metal albums like Nightfall (1987), Ancient Dreams (1988), Tales of Creation (1989), From the 13th Sun (1999) & Candlemass (2005) amongst others.
The Candlemass Chronicles are a series of chronicles in five volumes written and compiled by: John Gaffney (from the YouTube channel Lair of the Alchemist), Mattias Reinholdson and Per-Ola Nilsson, So cheers to them!
